Debate Ends, Tractor Parades OK In Missouri

One of Missouri’s long simmering feuds has been put to rest. Missouri Governor Jay Nixon WILL sign the tractor parade bill in a ceremony on the front lawn of the capitol.
The legislature passed the a bill authorizing tractor parade this session. The vote was  114-6.

Kansas City Mayor Says He’ll ‘Ramp It Up’

Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser is hinting the recall fight  may be just starting.
“If anything, I haven’t fought hard enough. I haven’t been aggressive enough. I’m only going to ramp it up”, said Funkhouser
Monday afternoon, organizers of a recall petition expect to turn in 12,000-14,000 additional names to City Hall.
