Former 4th At-Large City Council candidate Anne McGregor made the first of what be several interesting moves in the 4th AL run-off between former City Councilman Jim Glover and John Crawford.
McGregor endorsed Glover Friday.
“McGregor today announced that she endorses and will support Jim Glover for City Council 4th District At Large. “I am pleased to endorse Jim for City Council. Jim has the knowledge and understanding of City Hall and he cares about the issues facing our neighborhoods. I know he will put the interest of the taxpayer’s first and work to restore integrity at City Hall” said McGregor. “I look forward to working with him to make Kansas City prosper for all.”
Salante,
As much as I hate diminishing the disgrace of the fall of the outgoing mayor…. in, as I recall, 1978 the primary was Berkley, Watkins, Pelofsky and Wheeler. Berkley and Watkins won the right to run in the Run Off Election. BTW Excellent blog (and as you know, I am a tough grader!)
