Heavy Hitters, Including GOP Senate Field, on the Clay County Lincoln Days Marquee

The Clay County Lincoln Days expects to drawn all three top candidates for the GOP US Senate nomination and both candidates for Governor to Excelsior Springs this coming weekend.
The Clay County republicans say Senate candidates Todd Akin, John Brunner and Sarah Steelman are all expected to attend and speak. There is no indication the three will make any joint appearances. The three last debated last week in the St. Louis area.
The GOP’s candidates for Governor, Bill Randles and Dave Spence are also scheduled to appearance according to the Clay County Republican website.
All three GOP candidates for the Secretary of State nomination, Sen. Bill Stouffer, Rep. Shane Schoeller, Sen. Scott Rupp are also scheduled to be at the event.
State Senator Brad lager is also on the appearance list, but incumbent Lt Governor Peter Kinder is not, as of Tuesday morning.
The event starts June 22 with a picnic. That will be followed by a dinner at the Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs.
