Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio is in the midst of s 3-city swing through Kansas one day before the state’s caucuses.
Rubio is holding campaign stops in Topeka, Wichita Friday afternoon and an early evening rally in Overland Park
The Republican caucus in Kansas in attracting the attention of the GOP campaign.
Friday front runner Donald Trump announced he would hold a rally Saturday morning in Wichita.
Also Friday, his nearest competitor, Texas Senator ted Cruz announced he would visit a Wichita caucus site Saturday.
Cruz visited with customers at an Olathe BBQ restaurant Wednesday before holding a rally in Overland Park.
Only Ohio Governor John Kasich has not stopped in Kansas prior to the caucus.
Kansas Republicans send 40 delegates to the convention, Kansas Democrats send 33 to theirs.
Democrat Bernie Sanders made his second stop in the region in eight days Thursday.
He campaigned in Kansas City, Missouri last week.
The Missouri presidential primary is March 15.
