Jay Nixon Makes the WSJ’s POTUS ” Would Be Candidates” List

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has made the Wall Street Journals “Would be Candidates” list.
The Journal has been offering up little profiles of politicians who may not run for.president, but would not mind being mentioned.
Nixon is on the list right now in the Journal’s Washington Wire blog with former candidate, Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachman.
Nixon also has just returned from a quick trip to Iowa.
He insisted the trip, with virtually no coverage, was to look at Iowa’s ethanol plants, not his political prospects.
Nixon has endorsed fellow Democrat Hilliary Clinton. Earlier this year, however, he spoke about the need to have the Midwest included in the national discussion.
“I do think the heartland deserves a voice, whatever party it is, whatever policy it is, in a national election,” he said. “I want to make sure the center part of this country has a clear voice,” Nixon said at the time.
The quote is mentioned in the short Journal report.
